Humboldt County Historical Society Beer Fest at Blue Ox
Join your friends & neighbors and support two Humboldt history non-profits while enjoying local brews, bands & entertainment as you wander the Blue Ox Historic Village with new *Kid Zone* this year! Ample weekend parking nearby. Visit the vendors, see historic demonstrations, buy tickets for raffle items, enjoy the bands - dance along! Featuring Banjo Makes 3, Elderberry Rust String Band, Flynn Martin, and local favorites Rise & Bloom! Hungry? Stop at one of our delicious on-site food vendors such as Food With Hoy. Discount non-drinker and children's tickets are available. No animals; support animals accepted.
This is a beer-tasting event and an 8oz reusable souvenir cup and the beer samples are included in the ticket price.

1st Annual Bigfoot Brewfest
Humboldt Homebrewers will be pouring at the Big Brothers Big Sisters 1st Annual Bigfoot Brewfest!
Craft beer, live music, and community spirit will be abound at the 1st Annual Bigfoot Brewfest, hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of the North Coast!
Location: Humboldt Bay Social Club
Date: Saturday, June 7, 2025
Time: 3 PM – 8 PM
This event will feature 10 local breweries from across Humboldt County, pouring a variety of exceptional craft beers for you to sample.
Enjoy live performances by The Oyster Baes and DJ LBoogie! Three food trucks will be present to ensure you've got some grub to go along with the tasty beer!
Every dollar raised goes directly to supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of the North Coast, helping to connect local youth with one-to-one mentors who make a lasting impact in their lives.

28th Annual Big Brew Day
We’re hosting the 28th Annual Big Brew Day at a member’s house, so please contact us for details if you’d like to participate! Check out the American Homebrewers Association webpage for Big Brew Day!
We will be hosting a brunch potluck, so bring a dish and maybe a few brews to share!


11th Annual Humboldt Homebrew Festival
Join us for the 11th annual Humboldt Homebrew Festival, a fundraiser for Engineers Without Borders-USA North Coast Professional Chapter. Taste an amazing variety of craft beers and ciders made by talented local members of the Humboldt Homebrewers Organization, delicious food truck options, beer garden, silent auction, and local bands. Whether you're a seasoned beer connoisseur or just curious about the homebrewing process, this festival is the perfect opportunity to sample unique and delicious brews while enjoying great company.
This fundraiser helps support the efforts of our local chapter, composed of professional and student engineers, and helps fund travel and resources for our local and international community-driven engineering projects.
The event will be held at the D Street Neighborhood Center, 1301 D Street, Arcata CA 95521

Humboldt Homebrewer’s Holiday Hangover Hurrah (5H) 2025!
Happy New Year Homebrewers! That means it's time for our annual post-holiday party for members. As usual that includes a potluck, sharing of homebrewed beverages, Dutch raffle, and the ever-challenging Iron Brewer Competition.
This event is open to current members (who can bring a +1), so if you're not a member yet or want to renew, you can do so through our website (http://www.humboldthomebrewers.org) or at the door. Setup is 5:00-6:00pm. Bring a dish and/or beverage to share (bottles, growlers, kegs all acceptable), and some cash for raffle tickets.


Mendocino County Homebrew Festival
The 2024 Mendocino Homebrew Festival is a-go! It will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at the Ukiah Valley Conference Center (200 S School St, Ukiah, CA 95482).


Learn to Homebrew Day (2024)
Join the Humboldt Homebrewers for Learn to Homebrew Day (sponsored by the American Homebrewers Association)! This year we'll be hosting a brew demonstration at a club member's home so if you'd like to join, message us on Facebook, on Instagram, or email the club at humboldthomebrewers@gmail.com.
This is a great opportunity to learn how to brew a beer and it takes place only once a year!
We have the Maltose Falcons to thank for the recipe this year. They are celebrating 50 years as a homebrew club and are the nation's oldest! Looks like a tasty commemorative IPA so join us for a fun-filled day!

Great American Beer Festival
The 2024 Great American Beer Festival will be held in Denver, CO. Results of the 2024 National Homebrew Competition will be announced during AHA at GABF on Thursday, October 10, 2024. If you don’t already know, one of our great friends Kenny, has a beer that just might medal at the event. Send some positive beer thoughts his way! Represent Humboldt County!
